March 2009: Month in Review

March was a pretty interesting month, both in my life, and gaming. It had its ups and downs, but otherwise, it was a fairly good month.

In my life, only 3 significent events happened, but are changing the course of my life. During my March Break, I took a visit to the college that I will be attending in September. Located in the small town of North Bay, Ontario, Canadore College shares there main campus with Nippissing, while the campus I will be going to, Commerce Court, is only for Canadore students. I also got to see the Apartment residence, which is where I would like to stay. Hopefully everything works out for the best.

Near the end of the Month, I also recieved a Pre - Midterm, and I found out that I am a level 3 student (70% - 79%, B), which will help me for college. I know I can do better, but Buisness Leadership and Economics has WAY to many notes. Oh well.

Also at the end of the month, I obtained my Green belt in Taekwondo. This is a great personal goal for me, as I eventually want to get my Black Belt, and learn another fighting style. Who knows.

In gaming, March saw me breaking the 10,000 mark, which I did on March 16, 2009.


It was a pretty awesome day, but I don't remember what I managed to hit it on. Possibly Fallout 3? My goal for the month was to get to 15k, and 40% on both Achievements and Points. Botafogo asked if I would help motivate him to 100k, by competing in a little challenge, where I decided to up the anti with going for 20k. I ended off with 13335, and 45% (Points) and 42% (Achievements) for completion ratio. I am pleased with what I accomplised, and hope to do better next month.

Bit of an Update

I guess I am going to start to use my blog more often, let people get to know what is going on.

Semester 1 in school finished for me in the begining of February, with me pulling off a 80% (A) average, which is the first ever for me. Pretty decent when its the final year of High School for me. I was also accepted into College at numberous places; but I decided to choose Canadore College in North Bay, and I am very excited. Living off on my own is going to be awesome.

Over the past month, we have been renovating my bedroom, and it is coming along nicely. Got a Xbox 360 Elite for in my room, but since I don't have my PC up there yet, I won't have Internet access. Oh well, keeps me from getting distracted by Online.

Might not seem like alot, but everytime you put a new game on your card, Precentage goes down, so this forces me to play some of my other games. Damn you Ninja Gaiden 2 and Halo 3.

Games releasing this Year

Out of all the games releasing this year, all the blockbuster titles, there are only going to be 2 that I am getting.

People would accuse me of being "fucking crazy", because of all the amazing games coming out, and already out. This list includes, Gears of War 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Dragon Ball Z, Grand Theft Auto 4, Battlefield: BC, Unreal Tournament 3, Soul Caliber 4, Star Wars: TFU, Too Human, Saint's Row 2, Guitar Hero World Tour, along other stuff.

The only games that I will be buying myself are Star Wars, and Soul Caliber 4. These 2 games look like they will have me gaming till the holiday season, where I most likely will ask for Saints Row and Too Human from Santa. (He's my homie.)

Also. My laptop screen broke. So I had to type this on my iPod Touch. It sucks royal.
